Batavi Watches is a boutique watch brand from the Netherlands. Our aim is to give watch lovers something for the eye and for the soul. Something to enjoy, be proud of and wear it without worries.
We combine the vintage aesthetics and mix it with Dutch minimalism.
Batavi is about being the underdog, being honest, brave and fearless.
It's about never giving up no matter how hard the situation is.
Just like the small village people who revolted against their mighty oppressors, while knowing they would not survive the battle. They were called Batavi.

BIO:
Ugur started Batavi Watches back in 2017 after being a watch enthusiast and collector from early childhood. It all started with a digital Casio as present from his grandparents to fashion watches as a teenager. The magical world of vintage watches revealed itself and he was amazed by all the beautiful tools engineers use to make back in the days. After collecting and selling vintage watches for a while he witnessed the rise of one-man-brands, the so called "microbrands". The idea of having a own brand sparked his interest. After several unsuccessful attempts he started from scratch and started Batavi Watches.

Mike brings with him a passion for both watches and the watch community as a whole, being an active collector and enthusiast, he prides himself in truly connecting with the needs of other enthusiasts and assisting in giving the best customer experience possible. Along with being an active community member Mike has served as a partner with Mint Timepieces and he is excited to bring their spirit of self-expressive, vintage and military inspired watches to you from within the Batavi umbrella.
